Well, Warren, rather than taking photos of pictures, why don't I just point you toward the sources for those images?

When I moved into the dorm "back in the day" I printed a lot of colour pages on the school printers (mmmmm colour laser) and decorated my room. Those pictures managed to migrate with me, and I added some more recent ones.

The elf girl standing on a green background is by Matt Holmberg, who I later found out did some art for a fairly well-known card game. Very stylized proportions on the characters.

The dragon girl below that was coloured by Kemono Inukai, who has a really fascinating art gallery. A lot of the art on his site is very provacative.

Laura the otter is by Gonzalo Reyes aka Chalo-san. Draws his characters very skinny but has a very sunny colouring style.

And that's about it. Images by those artists plus some glossy colour prints of raccoons and red pandas pretty much cover all my walls. There are some older photos of my room in the photo gallery which show the pictures in more detail.

On a somewhat unrelated topic, LiveJournal pissed me off greatly while I attempted to post the above message. I had to edit it four times and take a break for a couple days because I was getting annoyed with it. It kept truncating my post for no apparent reason. Eventually I figured out that it cuts off the post after the fourth <a> tag. URL expressions in the post text which are automatically converted to links don't count for some reason, so that's why the DeviantArt link is typed explicitly like that. Grrr.

Well, I finally upgraded my milk crate/end table combo to a fully-fledged computer desk. It takes up less floor space than my previous setup when you take the chair and makeshift mouse stand I had into account, and it has enough vertical storage space to accommodate some of the plushies that were starting to overwhelm my net. It's sad that my plushies have to be taken into account when planning changes to my room, but I'm not about to get rid of them quite yet. After all, I wouldn't be Devvyn if I didn't take things to the extreme, right?
