coniferous_you asked me which tree was my favourite, and I provided some answers based on which trees I had pleasant memories of. After some discussion, it came out that the real question at hand was which tree is a "Devyyn tree"? I decided I couldn't answer that well enough, so I (the "partially eaten carrot") turned the conversation around:
